How Nepal Post tracking works
PITS logs a parcel at Kathmandu customs, then your district office, then a delivery agent. Each step is a scan we show.
Frequently asked questions
Why did my tracking stop after the parcel reached Nepal?
The foreign carrier stops updating once Nepal Post takes over. We pull Nepal Post's own scans, so the trail keeps going.
Is this the official Nepal Post website?
No, it is independent. The official sites are gpo.gov.np and pits.gpo.gov.np. Every event here names its source.
Can I track an AliExpress order?
Some AliExpress orders ship by Sunyou or 4PX, which we support. Copy the number from My Orders and try it.
What does an EMS tracking number to Nepal look like?
Thirteen characters: two letters, nine digits, then the origin country code. Example: EE123456789CN.
The parcel says it is in customs. What can I do?
Parcels clear at the Foreign Post Office in Kathmandu. We show each scan but cannot release a held one; for duties, contact Nepal Post.
How long does a parcel take to reach Nepal?
It varies by carrier and customs. We do not guess a date; we show each real scan as it happens.
